Sales Representative

We are currently seeking a Sales Representative to join our sales team.  The requirements of the Sales Representative are:

Proven technology sales skills and past performance against sales quota.  Ability to develop and manage a sales territory.  Interest in learning how to sell solutions to your customers.  Goal-oriented individual with superior communication skills and a desire to be outstanding at what you do.  Demonstrated ability to communicate using technical concepts.  Desire for a long-term career in sales preferred. Two years relevant business experience preferred.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Identify revenue opportunities within customers' communities through communications, programs and other activities as needed.

  • Prospecting, qualifying and generating sales within territory.

  • Ensure identification, planning, account qualification and needs analysis at all prospect levels.

  • Telephone prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline.

  • Cold calling, appointment setting and proactive contact of existing leads.

  • Identify and close additional purchases of products and services by customers' communities.

  • Engage in technical discussions with potential clients, demonstrations and presentations.


Professional Services Consultant I

This position is responsible for the successful and efficient deployment of IronBrick data management solutions centered on Cisco, NetApp, VMware, and Oracle technologies.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work under direct supervision of the Project Manager and/or Supervisor and conduct onsite/remote installations of IronBrick technical architectures and custom consulting deliverables

  • Perform hardware installations including rack/stack of hardware equipment and connectivity cabling

  • Perform software installations including but not limited to: OS, driver, application installation, tuning and configuration of software packages on client systems

  • Perform system upgrades, maintenance, troubleshooting and configuration tasks either during regular business hours or during customer maintenance windows, as applicable

  • Participate in pre- and post- implementation meetings; serve as technical point of contact

  • Prepare service deliverables such as discovery questionnaires, architectural diagrams, implementation documentation and service delivery checklists

  • Adhere to industry and IronBrick best practices for service delivery and assist in the ongoing development and documentation of the internal procedures and delivery guidelines

  • Work in close association with the IronBrick sales and engineering team to position, develop and deliver IronBrick Solutions that add the highest value to it’s Customers

  • Perform other technical duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent (two years of applicable experience) plus a minimum of 2 years experience in any of the following roles: Unix/Windows Systems Administrator, Server Administrator, VM Administrator or Storage Administrator
  2. Demonstrated administration experience in Data Center technologies such as
    • Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS, Layer 2 & 3 Networking
    • Windows/Unix Administration (ActiveDirectory/Windows/Solaris/Linux/Unix) with relevant scripting knowledge (VBScript, PowerShell, shell/perl)
  3. Working knowledge in one or more of the following solutions:
    • Enterprise Storage Platform hardware and software solutions (NetApp, EMC, HP, HDS)
    • VMware VI Environment (ESX 3.5/vSphere 4) or other virtualization technologies such as Microsoft HyperV, Xen etc.
    • Microsoft Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, Active Directory Services
    • Cisco Ethernet and Fibre Channel Networking Administration and Configuration
    • Oracle Database Administration (10g and newer)
  4. High level of discretion for confidential work and information; ability to appropriately handle critical information and sensitive situations
  5. Ability to use sound judgment to effectively solve problems within the scope of the position
  6. Excellent analytical/problem solving and troubleshooting skills in both structured and unstructured environments

Professional Services Consultant II
This position is responsible for the successful and efficient deployment of IronBrick data management solutions centered on Cisco, NetApp, VMware, and Oracle technologies.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work under direct supervision of the Project Manager and/or Supervisor and conduct onsite/remote installations of IronBrick technical architectures and custom consulting deliverables

  • Develop and design service engagement tasks and timelines; deliver service engagements to timely and successful completion

  • Perform hardware installations, upgrades, troubleshooting and configuration tasks including rack/stack, connectivity cabling, functional testing, data migrations, cutover procedures, test plan executions etc

  • Perform software installations including but not limited to: OS, driver, application installation, tuning and configuration of software packages on client systems

  • Drive and participate pre- and post- implementation meetings; serve as technical point of contact;

  • Prepare engagement documentation including discovery questionnaires, architectural diagrams, implementation documentation and service delivery checklists

  • Assist the engagement management team in scoping service deliverables and accurately translate Customer technical and business requirements into service engagements

  • Adhere to industry and IronBrick best practices for service delivery and assist in the ongoing development and documentation of the internal procedures and delivery guidelines

  • Work in close association with the IronBrick sales and engineering team and Customer technical and business contacts to position, develop, present and deliver IronBrick solution architectures that add the highest value to it’s Customers

  • Perform other technical duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent (two years of applicable experience) plus a minimum of 4 years of consulting and implementation experience including strategic and tactical planning for service engagements
  2. Demonstrated administration experience in Data Center technologies such as
    • Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS, Layer 2 & 3 Networking
    • Windows/Unix Administration (Active Directory/Windows/Solaris/Linux/Unix) with relevant scripting knowledge (VBScript, Power Shell, shell/Perl)
  3. Proficiency and hands-on experience in two or more of the following solutions:
    • Enterprise Storage Platform hardware and software solutions (NetApp, EMC, HP, HDS)
    • VMware VI Environment (ESX 3.5/vSphere 4) or other virtualization technologies such as Microsoft HyperV, Xen etc.
    • Microsoft Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, Active Directory Services
    • Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS), Data Center Switching (NX-OS, IOS, CatOS)
    • Oracle Database Administration (10g and newer)
  4. High level of discretion for confidential work and information; ability to appropriately handle critical information and sensitive situations
