Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Hyper-V on FlexPod implementations and QA testing in the field for various CONUS and OCONUS locations;
  • Perform Microsoft System Center Automation/Orchestration implementation & configuration;
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of repeatable processes, documentation and intellectual capital to effectively streamline future implementations;
  • Prepare engagement documentation including discovery and design worksheets, architectural diagrams, implementation procedure documentation and service delivery checklists;
  • Work under direct and indirect supervision of the Solution Architect, Project Manager and/or Supervisor and lead onsite installations of IronBrick technical architectures and custom consulting initiatives;
  • Quickly adapt to changing scenery and logistics;
  • Act as an onsite liaison to provide consultative services and guide customer decision making;
  • Adhere to industry and IronBrick best practices for service delivery and assist in the ongoing development and documentation of the internal process and delivery guidelines;
  • Manage customer acceptance of the solution and customer expectations within the scope of the engagement;
  • Participate in the development of training material and conduct knowledge transfer sessions with customer technical POCs;
  • Responsible for streamlined communications to Customer and IronBrick engagement team regarding the project status and progress; and
  • Perform other technical duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent;
  • Minimum two (2) years of applicable experience as a systems engineer and installer with minimum five (5) years of consulting and implementation experience including strategic and tactical planning for service engagements;
  • Superior verbal and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to develop documentation for delivery to customer;
  • Ability to handle critical information and sensitive situations;
  • Ability to use sound judgment to effectively solve problems;
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and efficiently handle multiple projects with shifting priorities;
  • Capable of traveling 80% of the time both domestically and internationally;
  • Excellent analytical/problem solving and troubleshooting skills in both structured and unstructured environments;
  • Hands-on experience and understanding of the following software solutions:
    • Microsoft Hyper-V
    • Microsoft System Center orchestration and automation platforms; and
  • Hands-on experience with the following hardware solutions:
    • NetApp cDOT (Clustered Data ONTAP)
    • Cisco Data Center Switching (NX-OS, IOS)
    • Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS).

Additional Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be eligible for a security clearance;
  • Demonstrate aptitude, desire and drive to quickly become proficient in new technologies;
  • Experience as a systems architect; and
  • Well versed in Microsoft solutions.
